March 19, 2011, 7 p.m. LOS ANGELES’ FOLK SONGS Our season finale! On the eve of Persian New Year, we present folk songs from some of the most ancient cultures represented in the Los Angeles area. These songs have a lot in common thematically, yet are uniquely colored by their culture’s language and customs. Our only evening show of the season, this concert is a major event with music from Persian, Jewish, Irish traditions.
